She didn't blame her spouse for all her problems. People who generally blame everyone for their problems are generally miserable people. Blaming makes you feel helpless. Helpless makes you feel frustrated and angry. Instead she took responsibility for what happened. When I see a woman and all she does it complain how her husband/boyfriend/lover fucked her over and blame him for all her problems, I already know that she is an unhappy camper. I don't want a miserable person for a partner. Most guys think they can change all that for her but the truth is she'll find something to blame you for. A couple of years down the road, she will be telling someone else how you ruined her life. Then Bruno is going to be knocking on your door and asking questions.
I respect for Uma Thurman when I saw her in Kill Bill Vol. 1. Even though her martial arts skills are not up to par, you could tell by the look in her eyes that she was a fighter and very strong inside. That's what made her a good role for the movie. Life is much easier and joyful when you stop blaming society or people for your problems. It is about taking responsibility, knowing the choices that you make, and putting yourself in control of your life.
