DVD Home Movie Reviews

AeonFlux. This is horrid movie. Bad acting and bad action. I couldn't believe I tried to even watch this movie. Had to turn it off.

Casanova. I thought this was supposed to be a comedy. Long drawn out boring movie. I was hoping for something more fun and exciting.

King Kong. Wow! This movie is the bomb. After an hour and a half of this movie, I thought this was the best King Kong movie I've ever seen. The cinematography was awesome. The acting was well done and a very good storyline with many interesting sub-plots. I did not know this was going to be a 3 hour movie. If it had ended at an hour and a half, I would have given it 5 stars.

Munich. This is pretty boring the first 2 hours. Namely the slow pace and bad acting make it hard to watch. Also the incompetence of Eric Bana's character as both a team leader and field agent is accentuated by his bad acting makes it almost impossible to watch. The last 45 minutes got pretty interesting with a sudden turnaround in the plot.

Box Office

Wow! I can't believe X-Men 3 made 107 million opening weekend. That is just wild.

Washboard Abs

Well since I'd had plenty of more free time lately, I've been watching more movies at home. I've been eating much healthier, mainly at home, and the main thing though is that I've been working out more. My goal is to strip away any fat in my stomach and have washboard abs. I've already lost "a lot" of fat around the stomach. Most people will say that it doesn't look like I have fat in my stomach, that it is just skin. Well I know better. When I was in college, I had rock hard wash board abs. I know the difference. I've been wanting to get myself in the same physical conditioning. I've developed a "formula" that's been working steadily for the last two weeks. For the next 6 weeks, I hope to achieve my goals.

X-Men 3

I'm debating whether I should go watch X-Men 3. I've was intrigued by the Juggernaut X-Man when I was a teenager. He was one of the guys I found most interesting but knew very little about. The scene that amazed me was when none of the professor's X-Men and SpiderMan and his amazing friends could stop the Juggernaut. I said, "Dang that guy is good."

Advice to my ex-wife

Stop using guilt to manipulate people. You are an expert at making people feel bad, including me. That's why I want to be elsewhere. Someone I feel good around. And stop screwing people over just because they don't want to be manipulated by you. That's why you have so many problems with your friends screwing you over. They are just getting back at you for what you've done to them. Remember Joe and Casey?
They were your bestest of friends, promised lifelong buddies and now look at your relation to them? Enemies.

I don't want to be with you because you are selfish, mean-spirited, dishonest, and you lack basic morals. Get out of my life. I told you this in person at least a dozen times.

The Separation

My wife and I have been separated and are proceeding with the divorce or at least I am proceeding with the divorce. She seems to be dodging calls in hopes that the divorce will not happen. It's one of those fantasy trips where some people think that if they avoid reality, it will go away. :)
