Cholesterol

I didn't lower my cholesterol by reducing fat. If anything, I eat more fat. I eat five slices of bacon and 3 eggs every other day. Of course the bacon is all natural and the eggs are organic omega-3 eggs. If anything, I eat more fat. Though my total fat intake for the day is considered moderate. Did I cut out carbs? No. I eat a ton of carbs. For instance, I eat baked potatoes a lot, with all the stuffings. In fact, I eat bake potatoes quite often and I eat with a big load of butter. It taste so good like that. *smiles* I don't eat french fries at restaurants. I only eat home potatoes (home-made oven baked fries in olive oil). I don't drink soda, for the most part.

Now I don't recommend that people follow this. This isn't what solved my cholesterol problem. It's just what I like to eat. *smiles* I could post how I did it but the problem with that is that some scientist will steal it, verify it with his own research, publish it as his own, and win the Nobel Prize. All without me getting any credit. I see it all too often in this world.

Prescription Drugs

Had I taken prescription drugs to "fix" my cholesterol problem, I would still be taking them now and feeling quite weak. Drugs are not designed to fix your problem, they are designed to get you get you to take them for the rest of your life so that the pharmaceutical companies can profit for as long as you life. My father (and mother) will be addicted to prescription drugs for the rest of their lives. It is unfortunate.

The final solution to fixing my cholesterol problem, I had to use my brain to figure a couple of things out and and experiment. After about the "300th" experiment, I figured it out. I guess this is the difference between my father and I. He always relied on books and article to tell him how to think and what to do. He refuses to step out the box and this has been much of the conflict between my dad and I. I am a pioneer, explorer. Deep down, I think, he doesn't believe he has the intelligence to figure things out on his own. He always relies on the "experts" to do his thinking for him. My father always put down things I believed in and tried. Even though I didn't have the answers then, I knew the "experts" often make mistakes ... only to retract their theory 30 years later.

I read books a lot but I see it as a stepping stone in my learning. I see it as a place to start from.

I finally landed my dream job. I had to stay away from their criticisms and attempt to control me to put me in my place to do jobs I can't stand because "life is hard and that is what is required of me".

I have my dream job now and I couldn't have done it with them. Thank God. Sometimes you have to let go of negative people, even though they are loved ones, to succeed and enjoy your life. May others be tempted to try to find a calling that is suitable to them, makes them happy, and provides for their family.

I can say that I have all three. Thank God. Amen.

If raising a child without love or affection is considered being a good person, I beg to differ.

I give my daughter a lot of love. I make sure I spend time playing with her. My daughter is such a fun, loving and great personality to be with.

Cholesterol Level

My cholesterol level is now 157. Yayyyy!! No drugs. I don't believe in it.

My cholesterol level was 240 in 1989 when I was in college. In 1995, it was 265. In 1999, I measured it again and it was 300. In July 2006, it was 301. After a rigorous process of cleaning out my body, naturally, I was at 207 in Sept. 2006. Now Feb. 2008, I am at 157. Yesss!!!!

I feel strong and healthy.

More Surgery for simple problems: the American approach

For those suffering from lower back pain.

Video.

Wow! Anytime there is a problem, surgery is the recommendation. No coincidence that surgery costs a lot of money and U.S. doctor make a lot of money. Hmm.

I had chronic lower back pain for most of my life. I eventually solved it through studying Chinese Medicine and applying Western nutrition by modifying my diet and taking nutritional supplements. Wow! That's too cheap and not the American way.

For those who have difficulty concentrating, or suffering from ADD and other serious mental disorders, there is a simple brain surgery procedure that can solve that problem. Though you may think that is funny, they actually used to do this in the 50's and 60's and was touted the miracle cure. This was called a frontal lobotomy. When something first comes out, it is called a miracle. Only years later do they realize what they've done to themselves. You can read up on the effects of a frontal lobotomy.

By the way, I suffered from serious concentration problems for a number of years. I eventually solved it by changing my diet and using some traditional 'healing methods'. Yes the diet is a big factor in this.
