Man hypnotizes cashier and steals money

Video link. This is weird, if believable. Got me to thinking about marriage, why men get into it, and if women are hypnotizing men into handing over their life. Seems to me, most women are expert hypnotists. :)

Tips for reducing blood pressure

Here are my tips based on tested personal experience:

1. Relax
2. Take deep breaths throughout the day
3. Stress relief methods such as exercise, humor, socialization
4. Reduce sodium intake. Reduce the amount of salty foods you eat.
5. Drink more water if you don't drink enough.
6. Eat fruits such as oranges. Do not substitute orange juice for this.
7. Consume only moderate amounts of red meat
8. If you are Type A personality, transform to mix of Type B and Type A. This is better for your career, unless you are in the military or a CEO, CIO.
9. sleep early (by 10 PM), wake up early (I think 6-7 am is good)

Blood Pressure/Pulse

I woke up at 3:30 AM this morning. My blood pressure is 96/67, pulse 60. At 6:30 AM, with a little exercise at 5:00 am and doing mostly reverse engineering this morning (started at about 4:00 AM), my blood pressure is 101/74, pulse 70.

I think it is good to measure your blood pressure/pulse occassionally. I noticed that when I am stressed out, my blood pressure is skewed. So a little exercise gets my bp back to normal. I think exercise is very important in daily health.

So it goes to say that if I don't feel well and blood pressure looks off, staying in that state is a bad idea and unhealthy. Measure your bp and see if you stay in the healthy range throughout the day.

Waist

I was looking at myself in the mirror this morning after a shower. Particularly, I was looking at my waist and feeling the nice shape. I tried to see how much fat was on my waist line but couldn't even manage to even pull 1/4" of fat off. My stomach looks pretty flat so it is a good sign there is little fat on the body. I'm 5' 8" and 172 lbs. I don't consider myself skinny.

My boss says I am doing a good job. So things are going well at work. I work in security research so my job is to break into these systems that are considered to be very hard to crack. It can be frustrating, challenging, and rewarding. Overall, it is fun for me. I enjoy 80% of what I do on my job. Sometimes that is the best one can hope for but sometimes it isn't enough.

Past weekend

This past weekend was pretty rough. My car broke down on the highway. Generally this wouldn't be much of an issue for me but being hungry and thirsty for a few hours was tough for my two-year old daughter. She whined and cried. I had to hold and comfort her, as usual, while being hungry and thirsty myself. She is an adorable and well behaved little girl but some situations are tough on a little girl. We were already hungry and on our way to get some food. I spent Sunday running around, with my daughter in tow, trying to get the car fixed. Since I just started a new job, I didn't want to miss any work days, as it is a bad sign for newbies.

Everything was corrected by Monday morning but what an adventure! :)

Pictures

I don't post pictures of myself here because I am hideous looking. The creature from the black lagoon is handsome in comparison. :)

Yahoo mail extremely slow today

I think it is beyond extremely slow as I am never able to read my messages. This is annoying. I paid for this account.
